We love creating art for our favorites at Purple Backyard and this space was no exception. We went all out, experimenting with different styles for different rooms, giving each space a distinct personality while keeping it all Za Works
VISION
Like all of Kumpal’s briefs, this one came with its own twist: minimal yet detailed, whimsical and mostly white-on-white. Challenge accepted. For the living area, the goal was to enhance the already spacious room – making it feel even more open and airy, but with just enough artistic presence to capture the eye. As we moved through the house, we introduced more color in the master and kids’ rooms – keeping each space highly personalized.
DESIGN
The first piece you see as you enter the space is an abstract but intentional, minimal but colorful piece that will definitely make you go wow. But don’t stop there. Subtle, textured white-on-white patterns stretch across adjoining and parallel walls, quietly guiding you further into the space.
In the kids’ room, we brought their favorite things to their space, painting their stories into the walls with a single color and imagination. The master bedroom takes a simpler approach, but with a painted lamp and pillar that effortlessly steal the spotlight.
