We knew this project by Sumessh Menon would be unique when we heard about its mythological and underwater theme, and we were on board!

Our Medusa sculpture is the star of the space; not the one you see in folklore- this is the Za Works reimagination. She is strong and captivating but also has this warm feminine glow under the golden light at sunset. And once it’s dark, that’s when she shines with an ethereal aura.

For the interior and outdoor bar areas, we also made two sculptures in the shape of fish. They are positioned to give the impression that the fish are jumping out of the water and diving back in. They add the perfect illusion factor to the mythological theme.

SPACE

A rooftop restaurant themed around mythology and the underwater world, Mirage was designed to feel immersive and surreal. From sculptures to murals, every element of art here is placed to enhance that exact experience.

VISION

The brief was to capture mythology and aquatic life in a way that felt bold, surreal, and immersive. We wanted to create pieces that felt like an experience rather than something to look at and enhanced the way they enjoyed their dining.

DESIGN

The highlight of Mirage is our reimagination of Medusa. This one is radiant and powerful and reflects the feeling of warmth. She has a different aura as per the time of the day and is unmissable. Additionally there are two fish sculptures that add to the aquatic theme, placed strategically to create the illusion of movement. To complete it, there’s also a coral themed mural that spreads across the space.

Lastly, we created a sea coral-inspired mural to tie-up the underwater theme perfectly.

As a result, this rooftop restaurant is a mysterious take on the aquatic dream and definitely a visual experience we are proud of!
