With complete creative freedom, our team took on the task to design an atmosphere that captures the city’s essence- its diversity, vibrance, and unmistakable charm. Here’s a glimpse into how Zaworks wove Mumbai’s vibe along with the restaurant’s unique style into every corner of Bombay Cartel.
At the entrance, visitors are greeted with spray painted graffiti-style artwork in bold orange and red colors that are symbolic to the restaurant’s signature style. This grand entrance beautifully portrays the energy and flair of the city combined with the theme of the place with elements that incorporate monuments like the gateway of India along with the logo and mascot of Bombay Cartel. A creative twist on the lion mascot with a chimpanzee captures attention while the vibrant and striking colors make the artwork truly unforgettable. It sets the tone for the amazing adventure ahead.
SPACE
We designed Wall Murals for 3 walls across the vast 1500 sq. ft. space of Bombay Cartel. These Murals are a reflection of Mumbai’s energy, culture and iconic landmarks woven with the restaurant’s style and mascot.
VISION
The Murals feature a bold, bright orange-red palette with contrasting minimalist black and white accents for this one-of-a-kind project, making it a replica of a Mumbai Darshan and truly instagrammable for its viewers.
DESIGN
Our mix-media style artwork fused together various elements using graffiti-style spray painting, acrylic painting, and layered sheets to amp up the visual appeal for the visitors and create an unforgettable experience for them.
With a seamless connection between the interior and exterior, guests are transported into a black-and-white perspective room designed to create an illusion crafted with intricate geometric patterns, adding a touch of surrealism to the dining experience. Minimalistic yet highly impactful, this space is intentionally “Instagrammable,” with every angle designed for a perfect shot.
Zaworks turned up the creativity for Bombay Cartel’s interiors with a layered, mixed-media mural that is an ode to Mumbai. This retro-inspired collage, composed with aspects like Marine Drive’s iconic rocks, Mumbai’s art deco architecture, and a touch of the Taj Hotel, and fragments that give a peek into the distinctive railway tracks is an unmissable highlight.
With every detail thoughtfully assembled, Zaworks created an immersive experience that reflects the city’s and Bombay Cartel’s charm, creating a dining environment that’s as stunning as a true Mumbai darshan.
